Queen duvet cover (88" x 88") featuring the image "Vase of Lilacs" by Bonnie Young. Our soft microfiber duvet covers are hand sewn and include a hidden zipper for easy washing and assembly. It is amazing how a once ugly stump grew back into a lovely bush producing these delicate flower clusters of violet. When we moved here, we had one twenty-foot-tall bush of lilacs. Each year I cut down the overgrowth until there were only a few slender branches. It looked awful, but patience paid off. The bush is lovely shaped and covered with blossoms. In the meantime, two volunteer white bushes grew in our backyard. This painting is my loose interpretation of my vase of lilacs. Sold

While still attending elementary school in a one room schoolhouse in the Nebraska Sandhills, she began painting. For most of her adult life, she lived in the midwest and west. She studied art at Kansas State University, the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, Ohio, and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Colorado.
