Description
Sally shared that she does not like growing old. There is still too much to do. She wants to drive again. She is a retired school bus driver who also rode motorcycles, raced stock cars, and traversed the back trails of Maine on snowmobiles. She has difficulty walking but would love to stroll down a beach once more. Her hearing and vision are not as astute as they once were but her heart and sense of humor shine through.

What a lovely portrait, and your writing to go with it describes very well how it can feel to grow old. The patterns in her dress are wonderful.

Really nice portrait, and I like how you told us something about her in your description. This is my favorite of the day in the Women Painter group. like/f
