Description
Many years have passed since our two little grandsons lived at my house. To make bedtime more manageable, I established a routine of having hot chocolate and conversation just before they trotted off to bed. They sat atop the bar stools at the kitchen island, and I stood on the other side of the island. We giggled, laughed, and talked about anything, and lived in the moments together. Then last weekend, one of those not so little ones came home from college and saw what I was painting. He quickly made himself a cup of hot chocolate and reminisced with me about our sweet hot chocolate memories.
