Artist's Description

Last spring my grandchildren went with me to a greenhouse. They each chose a tuberous begonia for their section of my yard. The lawn leads off into a highly wooded shade area that we call the fairy garden. I rescued two antique washing machines and made them into planters. The kids and I did minimal maintenance, and the flowers are still flourishing into late September. I love easy, beautiful plants.
I painted the giant tuberous begonias with Dr. Ph. Martins Hydrus Watercolors on Moulin Du Roy bright white 300 lb. fine grain Hot-Pressed Paper.

She studied art at Kansas State University, the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, Ohio, and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Colorado. In Colorado, she studied under Janet Nunn, an award...
