Description
Many years ago my mother gave me some of her iris bulbs. In Colorado, they multiplied and grew to almost my height. Each blossom was huge. I tried to paint them many times and threw away the attempts because I could never capture their quintessence. Here in Maine, they are not as vigorous, so I tried again to paint them before they are just a memory.
