Artist's Description

Early spring brings the feast of color from many fruit trees, but the pinks, reds, and burgandies of the crabapple tree is showiest. When we lived in a suburb of Denver our streets were lined with crabapple trees. I loved walking my dog and feasting on their colors. I painted these flowers with Dr. Ph Martin Hydrus Watercolor on Arches 140 lbs. watercolor paper.

She studied art at Kansas State University, the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, Ohio, and the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, Colorado. In Colorado, she studied under Janet Nunn, an award...
